Mitsuru Maekawa vs Ryuu Yoshihara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Maekawa (4 - 7) who hails from Toyota, Japan and Ryuu Yoshihara(6 - 4 - 3) from Toyohashi, Japan.  Both Maekawa and Yoshihara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Mochizuki, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Matsushima, Raiden Okazaki and Kazuki Yamamoto.
