Balamurali Sarang vs Arun Tanwar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Pune Parikh, Pune,  taking place on 21/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Balamurali Sarang (14 - 5) who hails from Mumbai, India and Arun Tanwar(13 - 4(2) - 3) from Mumbai, India.  Sarang weighed in at 122 pounds, while Tanwar weighed in at 121 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Siddharth Mangal, and the three ringside judges are Aseem Parray, Pritish Chawla and Haaris Kassar.  

Round 1: 

Sarang closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
