Syed Hosseini vs Jake Sum

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Selangor promoted show at Shah Alam Kunjir, Shah Alam,  taking place on 26/03/2026:

Clearly AI Malaysia-Selangor have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Selangor Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Syed Hosseini (6 - 11 - 2) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Jake Sum(6 - 6 - 6) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Hosseini weighed in at 129 pounds and 12 ounces, while Sum weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Ahmed, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Othman, Haider Nasr and Danyaal Amer.
