Matt Yegon vs Kadeem Njuguna

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Kinyonga, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt Yegon (12 - 4 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Kadeem Njuguna(12 - 9 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Yegon and Njuguna weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Mwirichia, and the three ringside judges are Rob Birdi, Rex Odhieng and Armani Kipchoim.
