Iwao Sawada vs Hisoka Onishi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Oyama, Hiroshima,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Sawada (8 - 7 - 4) who hails from Kure, Japan and Hisoka Onishi(3 - 20 - 1) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Sawada weighed in at 111 pounds And 6 ounces, while Onishi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Taro Mayeda, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Nishimoto, Yoshi Kawakami and Yasushi Saito.
