Joaquin Junior vs Elias Portales

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Bahia promoted show at Salvador Mota, Salvador,  taking place on 05/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Brazil-Bahia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Junior (24(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Elias Portales(3 - 8 - 1) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Junior and Portales weighed in at 135 pounds.
