Dechapon On Lam vs Kailash Surendran

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at YMCA Club, Ahmedabad,  taking place on 27/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dechapon On Lam (3 - 0) who hails from Bangkok, Thailand and Kailash Surendran(2 - 1) from Chennai, India.  Both On Lam and Surendran weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haider Nazimuddin, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Shakoor, Zafa Firman and Haider Nazimuddin.  

Round 1: 

Surendran steps inside.  On Lam lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  On Lam holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, On Lam pushes his forearm into Surendran's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures On Lam about fouling.  
On Lam advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  On Lam ties up his opponent.  On Lam is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. On Lam tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Surendran behind the head.

Surendran pivots to the left of his opponent.  On Lam connects with a right uppercut.  
On Lam gets on the inside and drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.
