Mal Owen vs Corey Cary

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Thornton Recreation Centre, Bradford,  taking place on 16/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mal Owen (8 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Corey Cary(4 - 4 - 1) from Milton Keynes, UK.  Both Owen and Cary weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fred Ruddock, and the three ringside judges are Chris McReynolds, Jamie McNabb and Robert Macmillan.  

Round 1: 

Owen is looking to close the distance and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.
