Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Auckland Griffin, Auckland,  taking place on 23/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Kiwara (10 - 6 - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Joel Hamill(8 - 4 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Kiwara and Hamill weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Oakley, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Stine, Robert Smillie and Kieran Beynon.
