Boxing Daily Report from the Chirambo Promotions promoted show at Kano Olaiya, Kano,  taking place on 25/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Eziyodawe (11 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Idris Arase(9 - 2 - 1) from Kano, Nigeria.  Eziyodawe weighed in at 231 pounds and 14 ounces, while Arase weighed in at 231 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Obekpa, and the three ringside judges are Chinedu Shekari, Hope Namo and Ollie Mbachu.
