Daichi Matsushita vs Aki Kinoshita

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Daichi Matsushita (10 - 3 - 3) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Aki Kinoshita(9 - 0) from Yokohama, Japan.  Matsushita weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kinoshita weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Koizumi, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Sera, Takeo Kibe and Kazuhiko Yasuda.
