Alejandro Rueda vs Aimon Frausto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Madero, Quito,  taking place on 27/04/2026:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Pichincha have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Rueda (13 - 5 - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Aimon Frausto(4 - 7 - 7 - 1(NC)) from Quito, Ecuador.  Rueda weighed in at 247 pounds and 6 ounces, while Frausto weighed in at 246 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Montalbo, and the three ringside judges are Ovidio Vallez, Joaquin Santillanes and Enzo Roque.
