Daniil Ignatiev vs Fedya Polsky

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Tatarstan promoted show at Kazan Dubsky, Kazan,  taking place on 30/03/2026:

Clearly AI Russia-Tatarstan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Tatarstan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniil Ignatiev (13 - 5 - 4) who hails from Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia and Fedya Polsky(13(5) - 3) from Kazan, Russia.  Both Ignatiev and Polsky weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pyotr Berkutov, and the three ringside judges are Gennady Klepikov, Pyotr Berkutov and Dmitri Kochkin.  

Round 1: 

Ignatiev tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.

Polsky forces Ignatiev to back into the ropes.  Polsky crashes a mean right hook to Ignatiev's body.  IGNATIEV IS HURT!  Ignatiev quickly recovers. 
Ignatiev tries to land a right hook, but Polsky sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Polsky is on target with a firm right hook to Ignatiev's ribcage.  Polsky ties up his opponent.  Polsky is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ignatiev is looking to keep his distance.  Ignatiev stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Polsky lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Polsky advances into close range.  Polsky sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Polsky digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Polsky clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Polsky pushes his forearm into Ignatiev's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Polsky to stop fouling.  
Polsky sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Ignatiev steps away from his opponent.  Polsky feints a left hook, and then hits home with an overhand left.  
Polsky hits home with a stinging right hook.  Polsky clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ignatiev pushes his forearm into Polsky's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ignatiev about fouling.  
Polsky is looking to close the distance and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Polsky pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Polsky closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Polsky hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Polsky digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.

Polsky switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Polsky lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Polsky pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Ignatiev's liver.  
Polsky tries to keep the action at long range.  Ignatiev throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Ignatiev lands an overhand left.  
Polsky steps inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Polsky cuts off the ring, trapping Ignatiev in the blue corner.  Ignatiev throws a right hook, but Polsky clinches his opponent.  Polsky leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Polsky pivots to the left of his opponent.  Polsky digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Polsky ties up his opponent.  Polsky leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Polsky lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Polsky pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND IGNATIEV IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Ignatiev cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Polsky!
