Sam Watters vs Shaun Henricks

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 29/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Watters (11 - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Shaun Henricks(12 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Watters weighed in at 118 pounds, while Henricks weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.
