Eric Mogoeng vs Joel Douna

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 24/04/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Eric Mogoeng (7 - 1) who hails from iBhayi, South Africa and Joel Douna(10 - 9(1) - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Mogoeng and Douna weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Van Jaarsveld, and the three ringside judges are Uba Akamenya, William Ekstein and Barry Khuzwayo.
