Joaquin Melchor vs Xabat Lascano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Alto Parana promoted show at Alejandro Cilia Gym, Ciudad del Este,  taking place on 28/04/2026:

Clearly AI Paraguay-Alto Parana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay-Alto Parana Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Melchor (9 - 6 - 3) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Xabat Lascano(11 - 6 - 4) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  Both Melchor and Lascano weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Tabares, and the three ringside judges are Isidro Mandes, Alejandro Tabares and Isidro Mandes.  

Round 1: 

Melchor is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.
