Destin Seyrig vs Gaston Mellett

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-West promoted show at Geneva Delpy, Geneva,  taking place on 30/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland-West Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Destin Seyrig (7 - 2) who hails from Lausanne, Switzerland and Gaston Mellett(5 - 12(1) - 1) from Geneva, Switzerland.  Both Seyrig and Mellett weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vachel Gary, and the three ringside judges are Flannery Ferro, Montgomery Dujardin and Varocher Desailly.
