Gianfranco Moffa vs Vanni Acerbi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Lombardy promoted show at Milan Alberganti, Milan,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Lombardy Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianfranco Moffa (12 - 1) who hails from Milan, Italy and Vanni Acerbi(14 - 6(2) - 4) from Milan, Italy.  Both Moffa and Acerbi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tito Maceratini, and the three ringside judges are Dante Sabattini, Giuseppe Ezzo and Alberto Formisano.
