Mark Salmond vs Felix Inch

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Llewellyn, Christchurch,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Salmond (4 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Felix Inch(1 - 0) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Salmond weighed in at 236 pounds and 15 ounces, while Inch weighed in at 233 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Pera, and the three ringside judges are Ruki Kohu, Stephen Suite and Ian Fergerson.  

Round 1:
