Jyrki Paasio vs Petri Karonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Wekinky Gym, Helsinki,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jyrki Paasio (15 - 11) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Petri Karonen(3 - 5 - 2) from Vantaa, Finland.  Paasio weighed in at 200 pounds, while Karonen weighed in at 199 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Valdemar Makela, and the three ringside judges are Ismo Uosukainen, Kaarlo Nurmela and Valtteri Laitila.
