Davie Draffen vs Ewan McDonald

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Harvey McDermott Gym, Durham,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Draffen (5 - 13 - 2) who hails from Greensboro, USA and Ewan McDonald(6 - 6 - 3) from Greensboro, USA.  Both Draffen and McDonald weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joel Richard, and the three ringside judges are Owen Johns, Steven Bainum and John MacNaughton.  

Round 1: 

Draffen lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
McDonald steps inside and manouvers Draffen into the blue corner.  McDonald is on target with a right uppercut.
