Josh Capo vs Blake Finlayson

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at San Antonio Abella, San Antonio,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Capo (2 - 1) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Blake Finlayson(9 - 5 - 3) from Arlington, USA.  Capo weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces, while Finlayson weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bellamy, and the three ringside judges are Michael Milne, Mark Marrufo and Adnan Ghattas.  

Round 1: 

Finlayson is looking to close the distance.  Capo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Capo throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Capo pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Finlayson lands a right hook.
