Diego Lara vs Yao Chio

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Lara (10(2) - 0) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Yao Chio(9 - 9 - 4) from Tehran, Iran.  Lara weighed in at 112 pounds, while Chio weighed in at 111 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fionn Donnell, and the three ringside judges are Lee Taggart, Roy Clery and Liam Healey.
