Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Muparati, Harare,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Salim Zvinavashe (12 - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Bryan Midzi(13 - 4 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Zvinavashe weighed in at 126 pounds, while Midzi weighed in at 125 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Steven Joubert, and the three ringside judges are Paul Moyo, Peter Retief and Jack Feamster.
