Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the India Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Farooqui (10(1) - 3 - 3) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Duleep Apte(15 - 7 - 2) from Mumbai, India.  Both Farooqui and Apte weighed in at 175 pounds.
