Haaris Katibi vs Faisal Sobhy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Suez promoted show at Haaris Ally Gym, Suez,  taking place on 05/04/2026:

Clearly AI Egypt-Suez have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Suez Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Katibi (11 - 0 - 1) who hails from Suez, Egypt and Faisal Sobhy(8 - 0) from Suez, Egypt.  Katibi weighed in at 153 pounds And 7 ounces, while Sobhy weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Ashraf, and the three ringside judges are Mohsin Mubarak, Danyaal Galla and Aftab Amer.
