Byron Segalen vs Chase Baston

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Stade Sylvio Cator, Port-au-Prince,  taking place on 12/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Haiti Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Byron Segalen (13(3) - 0) who hails from Croix des Bouqets, Haiti and Chase Baston(14(5) - 0) from Carrefour, Haiti.  Segalen weighed in at 244 pounds And 13 ounces, while Baston weighed in at 251 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Courvoisier Cotillard, and the three ringside judges are Marshall Beatrice, Byron Jadin and Jemond Florian.
