Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uzbekistan-Samarqand promoted show at Samarqand Turcebai, Samarqand,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uzbekistan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lazar Tagiyev (11 - 1) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Rashid Gadjibekov(9 - 5) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Tagiyev and Gadjibekov weighed in at 160 pounds.
