Tariq Mir vs Irfan Ayub

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Shubra El-Kheima promoted show at Amer El-Sayed Gym, Shubra El-Kheima,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Egypt-Shubra El-Kheima Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Mir (6(1) - 0) who hails from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt and Irfan Ayub(13 - 1 - 1) from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt.  Both Mir and Ayub weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Tahan, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Sobhy, Bilal Algahary and Ibrahim Naim.
