Andrii Chagin vs Dai Brydon

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at The Grand Hall at Troxy, London,  taking place on 09/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andrii Chagin (11 - 0) who hails from Yekaterinburg, Russia and Dai Brydon(8 - 2 - 1) from Swansea, UK.  Both Chagin and Brydon weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Beddoe, and the three ringside judges are John Zakaszewski, Michael Kavanagh and John Zakaszewski.  

Round 1: 

Chagin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Brydon connects with an overhand right.  
Chagin finds the target with a jab.  
Chagin lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Brydon manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Chagin attempts to land a jab, but Brydon slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Brydon steps inside.  Chagin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chagin lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Chagin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Chagin throws a left uppercut, but is not on target.  Chagin clinches his opponent.  Brydon pushes his forearm into Chagin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Chagin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Chagin pushes his forearm into Brydon's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chagin to stop fouling.  
Chagin switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.
