Safiy al Din Najdi vs Waqqas Amlil

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet promoted show at Ahmed Abboud Gym, Meknes,  taking place on 05/05/2026:

Clearly AI Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SNRT, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Safiy al Din Najdi (10 - 5(1) - 5) who hails from Oujda, Morocco and Waqqas Amlil(4 - 12(1) - 4) from Meknes, Morocco.  Najdi weighed in at 104 pounds and 8 ounces, while Amlil weighed in at 104 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aatif Sassa, and the three ringside judges are Rifky Altamgruti, Moneeb Bernoussi and Moufid Bouyboud.
