Cumhur Elmaci vs Suleiman Akan

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikwalakwala Promotions promoted show at Izmir Bayraktar, Izmir,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Turkey Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cumhur Elmaci (20 - 1 - 1) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Suleiman Akan(9 - 5 - 4) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Elmaci weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces, while Akan weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oz Ganis, and the three ringside judges are Metin Calhanoglu, Serkan Dagtekin and Derya Erish.
