Cody Lever vs Ogenyi Akpan

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at County Coliseum, El Paso,  taking place on 29/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Lever (13(3) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Ogenyi Akpan(2 - 2 - 1) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Lever weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Akpan weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Corfield, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hesson, Ian Hesson and Ali Qazi.  

Round 1:
