Orlando Arencibia vs Angus Cooper

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at York Hall, London,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Orlando Arencibia (4 - 1) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Angus Cooper(1 - 0) from Watford, UK.  Both Arencibia and Cooper weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Musto, and the three ringside judges are Lucas Ervine, Frank McCance and Gethin Kavanah.  

Round 1:

Cooper uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Arencibia behind the head. Arencibia pushes his forearm into Cooper's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arencibia about fouling.  
Arencibia lands a nasty left hook.  COOPER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Arencibia clinches his opponent.  Arencibia is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Cooper quickly recovers.

The ref separates the two fighters.  Arencibia tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

Arencibia is on target with a stinging cross.  Arencibia tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arencibia lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
