Joshua Doyle vs Ciaran Flynn

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at All Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 17/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Joshua Doyle (1 - 0) who hails from Tallaght, Ireland and Ciaran Flynn(1 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Doyle and Flynn weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are John Hyland, Fionn Delaney and Aaron Hearn.  

Round 1: 

Doyle is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Doyle lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Doyle attempts to land a cross, but Flynn slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Doyle lands a firm cross.  
Doyle advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Doyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Doyle forces Flynn to retreat into a neutral corner.  Doyle lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Doyle clinches his opponent.  Doyle uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Flynn behind the head. 
Doyle sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Doyle steps away from his opponent.  Doyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm cross to Flynn's body.  
Flynn wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Doyle dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Doyle is on target with a cross.  
Flynn steps inside.  Doyle digs in a right hook to Flynn's body.  
Doyle pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Doyle lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Doyle holds on to his opponent.  Doyle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Flynn behind the head. 
Flynn lands a right uppercut.  
Doyle switches the action to the outside.  Doyle circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Flynn tries to land a jab, but Doyle sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Doyle closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Doyle is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Doyle is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Doyle steps inside.  Doyle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Doyle drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Doyle ties up his opponent.  Doyle leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Doyle pushes his forearm into Flynn's face.  The ref breaks Doyle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Doyle drives a stinging cross into his opponents body.  
Doyle is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Flynn's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Flynn's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Doyle feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Doyle is on target with a solid left hook to Flynn's body.

Doyle is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Doyle gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  Doyle holds on to his opponent.  Doyle pushes his forearm into Flynn's face.  The referee warns Doyle and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Doyle's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Flynn's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
