Dom Ravens vs Robert Nish

Boxing Daily Report from the Supreme Boxing Promotions promoted show at Dorchester Armory, Boston,  taking place on 23/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dom Ravens (6 - 0) who hails from Stamford, USA and Robert Nish(3 - 2 - 1) from Dallas, USA.  Ravens weighed in at 243 pounds and 10 ounces, while Nish weighed in at 248 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Ormiston, Hassan Quadri and Bart McWethy.  

Round 1: 

Ravens lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Ravens connects with a right uppercut.  Ravens tries to land a right hook, but Nish blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ravens is on target with a jab.  
Ravens walks Nish into the corner.  Ravens lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Nish tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Ravens gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Ravens lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ravens sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Ravens steps inside and lands a right hook.  
Ravens gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  Ravens clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ravens pushes his forearm into Nish's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ravens to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nish's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nish's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Nish's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ravens attempts to land a left uppercut, but Nish blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Ravens's body.  
Ravens lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nish is on target with a left hook.  
Ravens lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ravens steps inside.  Nish throws a left hook, but Ravens holds on to his opponent.  Ravens leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
