Quin Sotomayor vs Jose Rengel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Universidad EAFIT, Medellin,  taking place on 12/05/2026:

Clearly AI Colombia-Antioquia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quin Sotomayor (5 - 0) who hails from Mejicanos, El Salvador and Jose Rengel(3 - 1 - 2) from Medellin, Colombia.  Sotomayor weighed in at 112 pounds, while Rengel weighed in at 111 pounds and 6 ounces.
