Phil Platter vs Cuba Pollino

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Kezar Pavilion, San Francisco,  taking place on 18/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the North American Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Phil Platter (18(10) - 0) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Cuba Pollino(22(1) - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Platter weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces, while Pollino weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nick Erskin, and the three ringside judges are Mark Pizarro, Adam Paulin and Patrick Hardie.
