Justin Caddick vs Jesus Ignacio

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Havana International Exhibition Centre, Havana,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Caddick (12(8) - 1) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Jesus Ignacio(5 - 4(1) - 1) from Santa Clara, Cuba.  Both Caddick and Ignacio weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Villano, and the three ringside judges are Montel Palencia, Rodrigo Llamas and Urvano Domingo.  

Round 1: 

Caddick feints a cross, and then hits home with an overhand right.

You can sense the frustration from Ignacio now.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!

Caddick lands a CRUSHING cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE IGNACIO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ignacio recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Caddick attempts to land a jab, but Ignacio blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Caddick switches the action to the outside and connects with a FIERCE cross.  IGNACIO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Caddick!
