Duncan Fullerton vs Kris Dodd

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong,  taking place on 25/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-New South Wales Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Doctor Duncan Fullerton (11(2) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Kris Dodd(11 - 9(2) - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Fullerton and Dodd weighed in at 139 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Callis, and the three ringside judges are Nick Eade, Steven Webb and Aaron Hepburn.  

Round 1: 

Fullerton lands a firm overhand right.  
Fullerton is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Dodd tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Fullerton manages to force Dodd onto the ropes.  Fullerton lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Round 2: 

Dodd switches the action to the outside.  Fullerton connects with a solid cross.  
Fullerton drives a stinging left hook into Dodd's body.  
Fullerton manages to force Dodd into a neutral corner.  Fullerton digs in a firm left uppercut to Dodd's body.  
Dodd throws a left hook, but Fullerton clinches his opponent.  Fullerton uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dodd behind the head. The referee warns Fullerton and breaks the clinch.  
Fullerton drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Fullerton steps inside.  Fullerton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Fullerton wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dodd dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dodd is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Fullerton dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fullerton throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Dodd's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Fullerton walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Dodd throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Fullerton is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Fullerton slams a big right hook into Dodd's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE DODD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Fullerton advances into close range.  The right shot from Fullerton could be enough to force the stoppage!  Fullerton lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  Dodd now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Fullerton advances into close range.  Dodd pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fullerton lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DODD IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Dodd almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Dodd's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Fullerton clinches his opponent.  Fullerton hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Fullerton leans on his opponent using all his weight. Fullerton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
