Hugh Lynch vs Walid Van der Borghereye

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Wembley Arena, London,  taking place on 06/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Western Europe Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Lynch (18(9) - 2) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Walid Van der Borghereye(13 - 3(1)) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Lynch weighed in at 229 pounds and 4 ounces, while Van der Borghereye weighed in at 247 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Byrne, and the three ringside judges are Richie Harp, Ewan Musto and Jamie Hayes.
