Kyrone Mabokgwane vs John Moolman

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 10/05/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyrone Mabokgwane (11 - 4 - 4) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and John Moolman(8 - 8 - 6) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Both Mabokgwane and Moolman weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Strydom, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Nyauza, Simba Bariagher and Tshepo Dikgacoi.
