Bruce Hughes vs Mark Dunkin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at Simwala Gym, Salem,  taking place on 08/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Hughes (16(4) - 2) who hails from Portland, USA and Mark Dunkin(7 - 1) from Portland, USA.  Hughes weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces, while Dunkin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Greim, and the three ringside judges are Brett Edmison, Rob Tolmie and Baltasar Mijares.
