Fred Baines vs Anton Symington

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Bowlers Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 31/05/2026:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the British-Central England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fred Baines (14 - 5 - 1) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Anton Symington(2 - 15 - 1) from Liverpool, UK.  Baines weighed in at 160 pounds, while Symington weighed in at 159 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Law, and the three ringside judges are Robert Ewings, Paul Elliot and Henry Florian.
