Sam Coull vs Peter Harper

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Coull (2 - 0) who hails from Vaughan, Canada and Peter Harper(4 - 4 - 1) from Hamilton, Canada.  Coull weighed in at 175 pounds, while Harper weighed in at 174 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Luna, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Henry Popkin and Destin Dauphin.  

Round 1: 

Coull is on target with a right uppercut.  
Coull steps to the outside.  Coull circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Harper tries to land a jab, but Coull blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Harper steps inside.  As Coull tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Harper.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Coull lands with a solid jab.  
Harper lands a right hook.  
Coull lands with a ramrod jab.  
Coull switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
