Sergej á Alferov vs Ronald MacVicar

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Baskent Volleyball Hall, Ankara,  taking place on 20/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Premium Extra, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sergej á Alferov (26(23) - 0) who hails from Varna, Bulgaria and Ronald MacVicar(14 - 0) from Preston, UK.  Both Alferov and MacVicar weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmet Genco, and the three ringside judges are Metin Kaptan, Erdem Balkan and Ilkin Shirin.  

Round 1: 

Alferov lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Alferov steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Alferov is on target with a solid overhand left.  
Alferov lands a stinging jab.  
Alferov lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Alferov lands a cross, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
MacVicar gets on the inside.  Alferov throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Alferov clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, MacVicar pushes his forearm into Alferov's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Alferov tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  MacVicar almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Alferov lands a cross to the body, an overhand left to the head and a jab to the head.  Alferov tries to land a jab, but MacVicar blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Alferov feints a left hook, and then hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Alferov steps to the outside and drives a stinging cross into MacVicar's body.  
Alferov attempts to land a jab, but MacVicar blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Alferov feints a right, and then hits home with a sharp jab.  
Alferov lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Alferov feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES MACVICAR!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Alferov senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop MacVicar and just needs the right shot.  Alferov SLAMS a VICIOUS right hook into his opponents face.  MACVICAR IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
MacVicar closes the distance.  Alferov lands a big left uppercut.  MacVicar now seems to have his senses back.  
Alferov is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Alferov steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Alferov attempts to land a cross, but MacVicar blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacVicar gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Alferov sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
MacVicar closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Alferov holds on to his opponent.  Alferov pushes his forearm into MacVicar's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Alferov to stop fouling.  
MacVicar advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Alferov's ribcage.  
Alferov tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
MacVicar throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a MASSIVE left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE MACVICAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  MacVicar recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
MacVicar is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  MacVicar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Alferov lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacVicar's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  MacVicar's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Alferov is on target with a VICIOUS cross.  MACVICAR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  MacVicar quickly recovers. 
Alferov finds the target with a jab.  
Alferov connects with a cross.  
Alferov lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  Alferov throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
MacVicar steps inside.  MacVicar sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alferov EXPLODES a FEARSOME left hook into his opponents face.  MACVICAR IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Alferov closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to MacVicar.  That has caused swelling  around the right eye.  
Alferov switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Alferov tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Alferov feints a jab, but MacVicar does not fall for it and is on target with a left hook to Alferov's body.  
MacVicar steps inside.  Alferov whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents ribs.  MACVICAR IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Alferov switches the action to the outside.  Alferov feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacVicar gets on the inside.  MacVicar pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
MacVicar is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  MACVICAR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  MacVicar recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Alferov lands a solid overhand left.  
Alferov is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  MacVicar recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Alferov lands a straight 1 - 2, AND DROPS MACVICAR TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Alferov!
