Joaquin Penso vs Eloy Novo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Distrito Federal promoted show at Brasilia Cardoza, Brasilia,  taking place on 14/04/2026:

Clearly AI Brazil-Distrito Federal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Distrito Federal Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Penso (16 - 3) who hails from Brasilia, Brazil and Eloy Novo(10 - 7(1) - 2) from Brasilia, Brazil.  Penso weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Novo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraco Porro, and the three ringside judges are Jose Tavares, Orlando Sardinha and Reynaldo Cambra.
