Agapetus Garcia vs Diego Pita

Boxing Daily Report from the Eduardo Zambrano promoted show at Jeraldo Valladolid Gym, Turmero,  taking place on 12/05/2026:

Clearly Eduardo Zambrano have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Aragua Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Agapetus Garcia (10 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Diego Pita(8 - 6 - 3) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Both Garcia and Pita weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Larenzo Carro, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Ballesteros, Jose Mate and Larenzo Carro.  

Round 1: 

Pita sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Garcia hits home with an overhand left.  Garcia throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pita advances into close range.  As Pita tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Garcia has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
