Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at Toronto Munro, Toronto,  taking place on 14/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Chris Crear (0 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Ian Bowens(0 - 2) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Crear and Bowens weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Nickson, and the three ringside judges are Joel Griffin, Rob Murray and Richard Amiot.  

Round 1: 

Crear finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Crear lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Crear gets on the inside.  Crear quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Crear is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  Crear ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Crear pushes his forearm into Bowens's face.  The referee warns Crear and breaks the clinch.  Crear tries to land a left uppercut, but Bowens slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Crear lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Crear ties up his opponent.  Crear pushes his forearm into Bowens's face.  The referee warns Crear and breaks the clinch.  Crear attempts to land a left hook, but Bowens blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Crear's liver.  
Crear finds the target with a jab.  Crear attempts to land a jab, but Bowens sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Crear cuts off the ring, trapping Bowens on the ropes.  Crear is on target with a right uppercut.

Crear quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bowens throws a left hook, but Crear holds on to his opponent.  Crear tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bowens behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Crear.  
Crear manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Bowens tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Bowens's body.  
Crear advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Crear hits home with a left uppercut.  Crear holds on to his opponent.  Crear uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Bowens's kidney. 
Bowens connects with a right hook.  Crear holds on to his opponent.  Crear leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Crear throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Crear to stop fouling.  
Crear pivots to the side of his opponent.  Crear digs in a sharp right uppercut to Bowens's ribcage.  Crear clinches his opponent.  Crear leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Crear's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Crear is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Crear sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
