Liko Yao vs Deshi Ngueng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Anhui promoted show at Chung Sieh Gym, Hefei,  taking place on 15/04/2026:

Clearly AI China-Anhui have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Anhui Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Liko Yao (11 - 7 - 5) who hails from Fuyang, China and Deshi Ngueng(9 - 7(1) - 2) from Hefei, China.  Yao weighed in at 126 pounds, while Ngueng weighed in at 125 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xing-fu Bow, and the three ringside judges are Huang-fu Wing, HuiK'o Tong and Tung Shau.  

Round 1: 

Ngueng hits home with a cross.
